Those Old Windows 10 Machines Aren’t Doing Anyone Any Favours

Now that Windows 10 officially went end of life on 14th October 2025, a lot of offices are left with a familiar problem — stacks of old laptops and desktops that no one’s touched in months.

They’re usually hiding in cupboards, under desks, or sitting on a shelf “just in case” someone needs them again. But let’s be honest — no one’s going to. They’re out of support, out of date, and probably more of a security risk than anything else now.

At this point, those old Windows 10 devices are just taking up space.

Why It’s Worth Doing

  • Security: Unsupported systems can be risky if they’re ever switched back on. Getting rid of them safely keeps your data protected.
  • Space: Free up a bit of room — everyone could use a clearer office.
  • Sustainability: Recycling means less waste, and it ensures old kit is dealt with properly instead of ending up in landfill.

A Bit of Effort Now Saves a Lot Later

Getting rid of old kit isn’t exciting, but it’s one of those jobs that’s worth doing sooner rather than later. We can sort it all for you quickly — or point you in the right direction if you want to handle it yourself.

Either way, we recommend you get those dusty Windows 10 devices out of the way for good.
